Anticipation was better than the show
"I was let down to see this show, as I was so excited. The show had moments of classic CCR greatness and sound, but there were also disappointing moments that killed it for me. One song sounded nothing like the original and a few favorites were abruptly cut off. Napoleon Dynamite Live! did one or two songs that wandered from his 1969 theme, which he had talked up at the beginning of the show. Not a problem for me, but they were out of place and folks around us didn't appreciate the songs much (I found the love song for his wife beautiful). Just an average show instead of stellar, overall a good show but straying from the purely classic sounds made it."
